Weezy is Here for you

You know I'm a selfless guy and I'm all about giving back so I want to try something new here at the site. Even sports fans have a heart and that heart can me broken too so I want to offer my help to any readers out there that are having trouble with their significant other. My heart has been shattered into a million pieces lately and I want to offer my help to any readers out there that might need it. For the record it was my fault. This was the girl. She was it. The chosen one. The One. But I screwed it up and I screwed it up bad. I still love her and I always will love her. She was my oyster. We went through so much together and I feel that my experiences can serve as good advice to help my readers from making the same mistakes I made. Like I said, I'm all about giving back and if thats what I have to do to keep my readers out of hearbreak then thats what I will do. Believe me, losing the girl of your dreams sucks, you don't want to go down that road. Especially when its you who screwed it up. Take it from me. My heart weeps, and it aint because the Patriots finally got their running game going again last week. So if you want some quick love advice from a complete stranger hit me up. Weezy the Love Dr might just save your ass from the dog house and maybe even get you laid again. Try me.

PS. For now leave all your questions in the comment section. I will try to get to them as soon as I can.

Vegan Arrested in Colorado

I honestly don't understand people sometimes. I mean this guy sets fire to a sheepskin factory and causes $500,000 worth of damages because he feels that using animals for any reason is wrong? What did this guy's action acomplish exept for maybe land him a couple of years in jail? And since when does two wrongs make a right? Look, I respect this guys point of view and opinion but what about mine? If I want to go into a restaurant and order a big fat 18 oz. juicy steak wearing my sheepskin leather jacket with my alligator skin belt and my custom made baby-seal boots then that's what I'm going to do. This awesome country we live in gives us the right and entitles us to our own opinion. But as people of this nation we also have the responsibility of respecting other people's opinion even when theirs is different than our own. I mean who does this guy think he is? Its people like this that make people think that Utahns are a bunch of weirdos.

PS. How does this guy have that much of a double chin if he's a vegan? Either he's sneaking in some double cheeseburgers and fried chicken or he's got the worst genes ever.

Which Jazz team is gonna show up tonight?...

Ok so the Jazz played an awesome game on Monday night. But my question is, which Jazz team is gonna take the court tonight?.. The Jazz team that played the season finale against Phoenix? The ones that came out and played like they had nothing to play for with nothing on the line?.. Or the Jazz team that played Monday night in game 2 against the Nuggets? The team that came in plagued with injuries but that played with as much heart as I've seem from them all season?.. Cuase thats thats the team that I want to see tonight. To be fair the Jazz played almost a perfect game and the Nuggets did not play to their potential. But I think a lot of that had to do with the way the Jazz played defense. They fought hard to get Carmelo off his sweet spot but more amazingly, they got in Billups's head. I never seen Billups commit the type of childish fouls he was commiting and I think frustration had a lot to do with it. Thats the type of D thats gonna get us two more wins in SLC. My compliments to Mathews by the way. The way he hustles on both sides of the court should be an inspiration to some of the veterans on this team. Just saying... But back to the rest of the team. Short handed or not, the Jazz have a well rounded team with enough talent to make a lot of noise as long as people start pulling their own weight. I've been preaching this for a while and I think its about time people start listening. Monday night was a good example of that. Sure we could use AK's defence to try to slow down Carmelo right about not but guess what... He is still hurt and he can't play so people are gonna have to suck it up and play a little harder. Overall I think they seem to be doing just that but consistency is key. Lets see if they can keep up that intensity going into tonight's game.

PS. What was Matt Harpring talking about after the game when he said the Jazz came out and won even after nobody believed in them?.. Hey! I believed.

With their first pick of the 2010 NFL Draft the NE Patriots select...

Rutgers CB Devin McCourty... Wait. Who? No seriously, who? I don't claim to be a draft expert, cause I'm not, but going into this draft I was under the impression that the Patriots strongest needs were DL and ILB. Some people even went as far as saying that we were in big need of a WR. I didn't agree with this last one but a corner back? In the first round? Now I'm not claiming to be good at math either, cause I'm not, but I think that makes 6 CBs on the roster now... Ok calm down Weezy... Relax... Breathe... Ok I'm back. Sorry about that. I was starting to act like a Jets fan there for a second. As loyal Pats fans we have made a commitment to trust the hooded one in the most doubtful of times and I think this is one of those times. In Bill We Trust remember? I dont understand the pick and I know I'm not alone on this one but after doing a little research people think this kid is pretty good. Bill Belichick obviously did. Word on the street is that Devin McCourty is a Special Teams ace and a shutdown corner. Maybe having Holmes and Marshall in the division now had something to do with the pick. Who knows? What I do know is that Belichick will do his job to get the most out of this draft as he always does. He did get us another 4th and the 3rd round pick that we were lacking by trading down after all. The Patriots have 3 second round picks today and I trust bill will address the needs that people are freaking out about. Relax people. Do as I did, count to ten, and have a little faith.

PS. Don't be surprised if Belichick uses one of those second round picks on a trade for a good veteran DL. Yeah yeah, its crazy I know. Just a feeling I'm getting though.

Will The Hating Ever Stop?

Will people ever stop hating on the Patriots? Its like people don’t have nothing better to do than to talk shit about them. At the beginning of the season after the Jets loss every one was writing them off.. The Patriots are washed up.. Brady has lost his magic.. This is a completely different team than the one that won those three Super Bowls, The dynasty is done.. Now they go and beat the unbeaten Ravens and Ray Lewis is crying like always because he cant beat the Patriots. Making excuses and blaming the refs. All the Patriots haters have followed saying the league protects Brady too much and that those roughing the passer calls cost the Ravens the game. And maybe they did and maybe they didn’t. We will never know. What we do know is that those calls were made because that is the rule. Maybe the rule is a little soft and over the top but that is the rule. I could see why people would complain if Brady was the only one getting those calls but the Patriots are getting penalized for those same calls. The Ravens have been whistled for that call 4 times this year. That is the most in the league followed by the Patriots with 3. So why is everybody singling out the Patriots here? But then again I guess that is the price you have to pay when you’ve been the best team in the league for the past decade. Everyone will always hate on the best. Its a proven scientific fact.

And save me the crap about them being done because everyone know damn well they’re not. Teams still circle that game one their schedule when they have to play the Patriots for a reason. The knees of apposing fans start shaking when their teams play the patriots because no matter how beat up they might be at the time that is still almost an automatic loss for their team. Is anyone really going to tell me that they would want to play the Patriots in the playoffs?.. I didn’t think so.

PS. Ray Lewis gave a list of things he was embarrassed about on Sunday. I don’t know if he forgot to mention this but maybe he should be embarrassed about never being able to close against the Patriots. Maybe he should be embarrassed about always crying like a little girl afterwards and blaming everyone one else for the loss but himself and his team. Maybe he should be embarrassed that his teammate couldn’t make a crucial catch on fourth down with the game on the line. Oh and did I mention that he was wide open? How about that the ball hit him right in the chest?… I guess I just did.

Show Some Respect!

ESPN.com: NBA Power Rankings. 12 - Utah Jazz - This season can't be as chaotic as the last, when Utah had all those free agents-to-be and countless injuries. But the lingering uncertainty about Boozer's future and the lack of new blood are sufficiently disconcerting.

Nobody is giving the Jazz a chance this year. I mean nobody. I know its only the preseason and it doesn’t really matter what these pundits think because most of the time they’re wrong anyway but I’m curious. I’m curious how the Jazz are going to do this year. I mean nobody is giving them a chance but hey, what’s new right? But look at the team we have. We have a very talented team and a lot of depth on the bench. The problem is we have a couple of guys who play their ass off every night like D Will and P Mill and then we have guys like Boozer and AK who frustrate the shit out of me just about every other game with their lack of effort. Not to mention the inconsistent play of Okur and Korver. Memo will come out and score 25 points one night and go 2 for 9 and score 5 points the next.

Our depth goes well beyond our starters though. Sloan made a mistake last year in not playing Ronnie Price more but I think he learned form that mistake. Price could be very good this year coming off the bench for Williams. Miles still has a way to go but he seems to improve every year. Korver needs to do more this year than just shoot free throws and Harpring is getting older but still very valuable coming off the bench.

Brewer can’t shoot we know that but he’s a decent defender and very athletic. He’s an important asset to our fast break game. If Carlos Boozer can come out and play his ass off, this being his contract year and all… If we find a way to motivate AK to play like we know he can… If we could get Memo and pretty boy Korver to be a little more consistent… And if D Will and Millsap keep doing their thing this team could surprise a lot of people and make a serious championship run…. If, if, if… Yeah I know.
