Celtics Lose To Pistons At Home

The Celtics lost only six times at home the entire season. With a close game in the New Garden, the Pistons got right what they wanted. They went in there and stole a game from a very strong home team. One who had lost only six games the entire season on their home court. The Celtics did not play a bad game. They had good production from their Big Three, Garnett, Pierce and Allen. Yes even Allen, who seemed to finally get out of that slump he was in. The problem was they didn’t get much help. The Big Three combined for 75 points as the rest of the team was only able to put up 22. Detroit on the other hand had a well rounded team effort. They had six players in double figures with Hamilton having a big game with 25 points to lead his team. The Pistons should be feeling pretty good right about now. Not only do they have home court advantage now, but they themselves only lost seven times at home all season. Throw in the fact that the Celtics are O in 6 on the road in the playoffs thus far and… well, you get the point. To leave off on a positive note for all you Boston fans… Ray Allen Seemed to find the net again. Even though they lost, that is really good news for the Celtics. They are going to need him to help Pierce and Garnett if they are going to win one in Detroit.

Series Tied 1 - 1
